Hopelessly lost In the middle of my life
Drifting and despondent
No center no direction
Loss has rendered me lost

Confronted with Leopard, Lion, and Wolf

Virtuous pagans of Elysian Fields,
the godless damned
Lost souls in their homes dwelling in hell,
hurled by Minos Lustful
Sinners being tossed around by winds of Hades
Gluttonous heathens pelted by ice
Eternal burden the greedy man’s stone

Down in the depths I empathize
